AFRICAI-RI will launch three strategic open calls to strengthen participation and capacity building across Africa.
Call for New Data Nodes
Institutions with chest imaging data (X-ray or ultrasound) can apply to join the federated infrastructure. Selected sites will receive technical and financial support for onboarding and storage.
Federated AI Solutions Challenge
AI teams worldwide can apply to train models via secure federated learning, without accessing or transferring any personal data. The three best teams of this challenge will receive a prize.
Security & Robustness Challenge
A hacking challenge inviting ethical hackers, data privacy experts and cybersecurity developers to test the resilience and security of the federated system and contribute to its continuous improvement.
